Can I get this in a different size?
All of our mural designs can be resized to fit your space at no additional charge. Any accent or listello that you see on the website can be made on different stone sizes. For example, accents can be printed on 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 6x6 stones. Listellos can be printed on 2x4, 2x6, 3x6 and 4x8 stones. Please see our Materials page for detailed information about sizes offered.

Can I use a different type of stone than what is shown on the website?
We offer four different stone types – tumbled Light Travertine, tumbled Durango, Bianco and Limestone. Any of our designs can be printed on any of these stones. We can also print on any porous stone that you can provide to us. Please see our Materials page for detailed information about types of stone.

Can I order extra blank stone to go around the mural or accent?
Yes, you can order field tile in any of the sizes and stone types that we offer. Please see our Materials page for detailed information about types of stone, liners and trim pieces that we provide.

I like one of your designs, but can I make a few changes?
Yes, we can do custom designs using any of our images - we can modify colors, change or remove elements or combine two designs into one. We can also make a custom mural using an image that you provide. See Custom Program for more information.

How can I be sure that the colors will match the rest of my room?
We have represented the color and character of the products as accurately as possible, but due to the inherent nature of the photographic process and variations in computer monitors, the colors or textures of the actual product may vary from what appears on the website or any pages printed from the website. Always contact an authorized StoneImpressions dealer for current samples before ordering.

What is the lead time?
All murals, accents and listellos are made on order, and are not inventoried in our warehouses. Please place your order as far in advance as possible to ensure your material will be available when you need it. Lead time is usually 10 business days (Monday – Friday), plus shipping time. For an additional fee, you may place a Rush on an order, which will allow the order to be ready to ship in 5 business days.

How long is the shipping time?
Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground from San Diego and can take 1-5 business days depending on your location.

Do you ship internationally?
CANADA & MEXICO - We have dealers in both Canada and Mexico and regularly ship orders to those countries via UPS with appropriate NAFTA customs documentation.
OTHER COUNTRIES - We have shipped our products to many European Union members and other countries. Stone tiles can be quite heavy, but we use carefully prepared packing materials to ensure a safe delivery.

Do I have to seal your tiles?
The murals, accents and listellos are pre-sealed by StoneImpressions and do not require further sealant at installation. For sealing the grout or stones around the StoneImpressions products, we recommend (when used according to the manufacturer’s instructions) Aqua Mix Grout Sealer, Aqua Mix Penetrating Sealer and Aqua Mix Grout Cleaner. Do not use any petroleum-based sealers. Please note: StoneImpressions provides recommendations for sealing products as a service to consumers only. StoneImpressions does not warranty, and will not be responsible for any claims regarding sealers.

How do I grout?
Grouting is a matter of personal preference. Grouting the entire image (especially with unfilled travertine) will fill the natural holes in the stone, causing the image to become randomly spotted with grout. A grout bag may be used to grout only the joint lines of the mural, thereby avoiding the spots of grout. A third option is to not grout between the lines at all - simply position them right next to each other. Talk with your installer to decide which method will work best for your installation space.

How do I clean?
Stone is a natural product, and care should be taken to protect it from harsh abrasive cleaners and abrasive cleaning tools. Cleaning can be done with a soft cloth, warm water, and non-acidic soap. Avoid any care products that contain abrasives, phosphoric acids, scouring powders, chlorine, acetone or glycolic acids, and avoid brushes and scouring pads.

Can I cut the tiles?
Please be sure to dry the tiles immediately after cutting. All cut edges should be sealed with AquaMix brand Penetrating Sealer, prior to installation. Never leave uninstalled tiles submerged in water. No warranty, express or implied, is made for the longevity of cut stone, even with the application of additional sealer. No allowances or claims will be accepted for damage to cut stone. StoneImpressions does not warranty, and will not be responsible for any claims regarding sealers.
